Q:   Where are you from?

A:   I grew up in sunny Cupertino!

Q:   How long have you lived in San Francisco?

A:   I moved up to the city in ’95 to attend college, and have been in San Francisco ever since. Now I live in the Outer Richmond with my husband and our three wonderful children.

Q:   Why did you become a real estate agent?

A:   Most of all, I love being present for some of the biggest moments in my clients’ lives. I see myself as an advocate, ready to serve people at critical life stages like marriage, having children, etc. This is why our team’s motto is “Turning Transactions Into Relationships”. It’s also why I count many of my clients as close friends.

I would add that I’ve spent my entire career in sales, so real estate was an obvious place for me to end up. In fact, most of the time I don’t even feel like I’m working!

Q:   What do you think is the most interesting trend in residential real estate right now?

A:   We’re seeing a huge shift in the desirability of certain San Francisco neighborhoods. Because of the pandemic, many people are seeking private outdoor space or proximity to parks and other recreational highlights. This means that many condominium owners are looking to move into single-family homes. As a result, there is much higher than usual inventory in downtown neighborhoods, where the condo market is down between 12-15%. Meanwhile, demand in areas zoned for single-family homes inside and outside San Francisco has grown significantly, with many multiple offer situations.

Q:   What’s a fun fact about you?

A:   Some of my clients may be surprised to hear that I am a pretty goofy person! I love to laugh and enjoy myself with my family, friends, and my team. Besides that, when I was in middle school I took table tennis lessons from a former Olympic gold medallist, and I even won a trophy in a junior division tournament!
